Samsung plans to sell smartphones for ₹1 as part of ‘Make for India’ celebrations. As per initial available reports, the offer is valid for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 products only. Here’s how the deal works- Customers pay ₹1 at the time of purchase and the remaining amount is paid in 10 EMIs. The offer started on April 29th and will be available until May 15th. Only users who pay through Bajaj Finserv and Capital First can avail of the ₹1 offer.
The Galaxy S6 costs approximately 32,900 under this deal while the Note 5 comes for approx ₹42,500. Also users can avail 10% cash back on debit and credit cards for EMI and non-EMI transactions. Other models like Galaxy A series of phones and Galaxy Grand Prime will be available cheaper under the ‘Make for India’ scheme. Galaxy A7 would come for ₹29,900 while the Galaxy A5 is priced at ₹24,900. Galaxy Geand Prime 4G would come for ₹8250.
Users can avail of this offer from Samsung for other products as well which includes refrigerators, washing machines, televisions and air conditioners. Cash back and other deals are available on SUHD TVs as well, ranging from 5% to 11% with 2 years warranty offered as well.
Samsung had recently announced having overtaken Apple in the smartphone segment for the January-March quarter.
