Lenovo Zuk Z1 with Cyanogen OS launched for ₹13,499

Lenovo has launched the Zuk Z1 for the price of ₹13,499. The phone would be available for purchase  via Amazon India through a flash sale starting from May 19th onwards. The Zuk Z1 has a glass front and a plastic back. The phone is Cyanogen OS 12.1 based modelled on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a 5.5″ display and would be powered by a 2.5 Ghz Snapdragon 801 chipset. It would be accompanied by an Adreno 330 GPU, 3 GB RAM and a 64 GB non-expandable memory.

The Zuk Z1 will have a 13 megapixel rear camera which would come with optical image stabilisation feature while the front camera will be 8 megapixel. A 4100 mAh battery provides backup to the phone, and it would also have a fingerprint sensor embedded with the home button. All standard connectivity options would be offered by the Zuk Z1 including 4G, Wifi, and USB Type C connectivity.

The Zuk Z1 was launched in China for the rupee equivalent of ₹18,300. The dual SIM phone weighing 175 grams will be available in white and deep space grey colour variants. At the price point that it is being made available at, the Zuk Z1 would compete with the likes of Moto X Play, and One Plus 2 smartphones.
