Vernee has come out with its new flagship phone Apollo which is available in China. It will can be purchased from next month onwards, and presently the only colour option we know of is silver.

What’s New?

The Vernee Apollo will be powered by MediaTek’s new high-end processor Helio X20 along with a massive 6GB RAM. It will also have 128 GB of internal memory. The phone will have a rear camera that will be 21 mega-pixel with Sony IMX230 sensor, while the front camera will be 8 mega-pixel. The Helio X20 processor that powers the phone is of tri cluster CPU architecture which came out last year. Such shockingly high figures with respect to memory, RAM & processor capability is rare to be seen in any mobile phone released of late, which does make the Apollo a truly one-of-a-kind piece. That the makers of the phone chose to name it after the first spacecraft that was sent to the moon does give us an idea about what they are aiming for.

The Vernee Apollo is rumoured to sport a 5.5 ” display and will also likely come with a USB Type C port. The body of the Apollo will be full metal and it is touted to be Android 6.0 Marshmallow based. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, Wifi and GPS. The detailed specifications are yet to be revealed by Vernee and will be available at the time of the launch.

The Vernee Apollo packs in a lot of power. All hardcore mobile gamers have reason to rejoice with this new offering from Vernee but with all the high-end features that it would come with, expect it to be priced on the higher side.
