The much looked forward to launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5 phone will happen on May 4th. The 3GB RAM, 32 GB in-built memory variant will be available for ₹24,999. The 3GB/64 GB version and 4 GB/128 GB price details have not been revealed yet, though the two a re expected to come for approx ₹28,000 and ₹31,000 respectively.
The 4GB Xiaomi Mi 5 had notched a very high score of 142084 on the AnTuTu benchmark. The Mi 5 also comes with a 16 mega-pixel rear facing camera with phase detection auto focus feature, and would also incorporates advanced DTI isolation technology that gives high-quality images. For its rear facing camera, The Xiaomi Mi 5 makes use of a Sony IMX298 sensor, 6P lens, sapphire glass protection lens and 4-axis OIS, which as per company officials performs better than the 2-axis OIS of the iPhone 6s Plus. The camera also come with a Spectra image processor that enables shooting of 4K videos and perform colour and dark-light enhancements.Other Features:
The smartphone sports a 3D ceramic body, and has a 5.15 inch display with 600 nit luminousity. At 129 grams the phone is amazingly light, hence easy to carry around. It has 3000 mAh battery and promises fast charge support as well-charges 20 % faster as compared to normal charging. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wifi and Glonass.
The two other Mi5 variants also come with 5.15″ display and all three variants boast of the modern Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. Xiaomi’s last flagship launch was the MI 4 which came out last year.
