Nearly 3.5 Million Audio devices & accessories where 1M headphones were sold by the end of day 1.11 headphones sold every second till day 1 while Apple Airpods sold 1 every 4 seconds.1 Home theatre/soundbar sold every 2 seconds3x YOY growth in premium devices.1 in 4 audio sold was premium – Apple, Sony, Bose were the top brands 10x YOY growth in True Wireless segment against last year BBD. The Big Billion Days (TBBD) sale, the annual flagship event of India’s leading e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, witnessed a revival in demand that has been hit due to COVID-19.

According to Flipkart, TBBD of 2020, which was held between October 16 to 21, saw 1.5x the number of transacting sellers as compared to last year. Among them, more than 35 percent of retailers saw 3x more sales as compared to last year’s event. Even the covid times couldn’t stop people from enjoying the big billion day festival. Though the employees and people were following the safety measures.
